Bloom Where You're Planted Farm and Pumpkin Patch

Avoca

2/3 mi. N. of US Hwy 34 on 108th St, 911 108th St - Located in the quiet countryside on an authentic 1881 farm. Many family-friendly activities including a corn box, wooded walking trail, playground, hay climb, gourd cave, farm machinery and chicken house exhibits, farm animals, and creative activities such as pumpkin painting in the old hay loft. In the restored barn you'll find a large gift shop, concession counter, wide variety of pumpkins, fall produce and all your fall decorating needs for sale. Shop the Pumpkin Barn and gift shop for free, or enjoy other activities for just $3/person, ages 2 and under free admission. Pooley's Pumpkin Patch

Bennington

144th & Bennington Rd - Enjoy a day at a family owned and operated farm. Hayrack rides to the pumpkin field to pick your own pumpkin, corn cannon, pony rides, petting zoo, corn maze, homemade goodies and much more. Open end of Sep-Oct 31, Tue-Sun, 10am-8pm. Vala's Pumpkin Patch

Gretna

1 mi. S. of NE Hwy 370 near Gretna on 180th St - Enjoy a 5 week fall festival including hayrack rides, haunted house, lost pumpkin mine, pig races, petting corral, pumpkin eating dragon, storybook barn, pick your own pumpkin or ride on the Pumpkin Creek Railroad. Bellevue Berry Farm and Pumpkin Ranch

11001 S. 48th St - Fun for the entire family! There is strawberry picking in June, raspberries in Sep and pumpkins in the fall. Haunted house, rental barn, picnic and playground area and hayrack rides also are available. 402-331-5500

Roca Berry Farm

3/4 of a mi. S. of the Roca elevator on 38th St - This 180-acre farm raises strawberries, pumpkins, raspberries and gourds. Haunted woods, haunted house, barn, spook coop and more. Stawberry harvest runs late May to mid-June; pumpkin harvest runs last week in Sep thru Oct. During these times the farm is open weekdays, 8am-8pm; weekends, 8am-6pm. Fontanelle Orchard

6 mi. N. of Fremont on US Hwy 275, 4 mi. E. on NE Hwy 91 - The Apple Barn features fresh, tree-ripe fruit of all kinds that you can pick yourself. Open year-round, tours available by request. 402-727-5272

2403 S. US Hwy 75 - This fall haven provides a fun atmosphere for family outings. The orchard's kitchen offers a delicious assortment including homemade pies, apple turnovers, doughnuts, and funnel cakes.
